REX

10-27-25

Today, Rex aka Phoenix, gained his wings. He was pulled from a kill shelter in Oklahoma and was "hospice" fostered by Blair Reber (formerly, ZsaZsa Sheltie Rescue) and her family since June. He had a long list of medical issues, some of which couldn't even be addressed due to his poor condition. The important thing....he was LOVED and SPOILED for nearly 5 months, leaving no regrets for him nor those of us that wanted only the best for him.
God's Speed Rex.....you will be missed.
A very special thank you to Deacon, Rex's best friend (Blair's son). He cared for all of Rex's needs and loved him so much. They were inseparable. I know his heart has been broken.

DAISY JAYNE

12-17-25

Beloved sheltie of Monika.

My sweet little Sheltie shadow, Daisy Jayne made her journey over Rainbow Bridge this past Wednesday. She left peacefully, quietly and calmly. She was 12 years old and we had 9 years together. We shared many quiet moments, many big moments, and our days were filled with love. I’ll always be grateful for the beautiful opportunity she gave me to share her life with her.

SALLY

2/13/2016 to  02/26/2026

Beloved sheltie of Deb Oman.

NELSON

2-28-26

NELSON arrived in rescue in March 2025 after being left at the age of 15+ in an animal shelter upon the death of his owner.  He blossomed and was loved, although he had a tumor on his leg that grew fast and was removed several months after his arrival (March 2025).  The tumor was cancerous and grew back aggressively.  It was not an option to remove it again and he gained his wings when it became too large and uncomfortable for his mobility again almost a year after his arrival.  His foster mom, Linda, loved and spoiled him for that year and misses him immensely.  Gods speed dear ole boy.

TRIXIE

3-2-26 :   From the moment Trixie entered my life she stole my heart. Her ying/yang face aptly reflected her early years.  Early on there was hardly a moment she was not in mischief but everyone knows those are the traits that sometimes endear them to us.  As she grew older, she remained a momma's girl and loved sitting in my lap, being brushed, given butt rubs and being cuddled.  Listening to her moans and groans as she was being held and cuddled always brought a smile.  I love and miss her and know she is free of pain being with those who have gone before her (especially my mother) and being loved there too.  Goodbye my sweet girl.
