SABLE is a petite 13 pound sable and white retired breeder sheltie with one large unique difference to most dogs that come out of commercial breeding facilities. SHE IS FRIENDLY BEYOND WORDS. She wiggles with joy, asks to be petted and even gives kisses. She recognizes the command come fairly well and does fairly aleady walking on a leash. She had a litter of three puppies this past August and it will take some time for her blown coat to come back in nice and full and someone willing to show her the ropes to living the lifestyle of a pampered pet, i.e., with household etiquette, but if you want a small lap sheltie that eats up all the attention she can get, Sable might be the girl for you.
Sable has been completely vetted and is now ready for her forever home....hopefully in time for Christmas !

PROCESS OF ADOPTION:
After we have had time to review your application and check references, we will be back in touch with you. This is a totally volunteer organization; therefore please allow at least 48 hours for us to get back with you. If at that time you have NOT gotten a reply, please e-mail us as your application may not have arrived. (ALL APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED, WHETHER APPROVED OR NOT.)
After your submitted application has been processed, references checked and approved, a HOME VISIT will be scheduled after which time arrangements will then be discussed regarding meeting your potential new family member.
Adoption fees range from $150-$275, based on the age/adoptability of each specific dog. HOWEVER, please inquire about our SENIOR SANCTUARY PROGRAM if you are open to adopting a dog in double digit years. We believe these SPECIAL individuals and families deserve even more consideration/support and we make every effort to make these adoptions a WIN WIN for both our DOG and POTENTIAL FAMILY.
