FINN is a 8.5 yr old, 68# (diet commenced), fun loving  sheltie (mix).  He was abandoned by his former owner with a neighbor who was unable to continue to provide him with a home.  While he certainly looks purebred, based on the information we have been provided, the sire was an unknown neighborhood dog. 

Get out the leash, you don't have to ask him twice....HE LOVES TO "GO".  He's beyond agile for an overweight dog and LOVES to fetch and play with toys or even become a lap dog (if you have room for him to squeeze on).  He showed no interest in the resident cats at the Vet Clinic and gets along fine with foster dogs.  He does have a more alpha personality, so recommend not placing him in a home with another STRONG ALPHA personality pooch.   All his vetting is complete, including a comprehensive lab panel, all spot on (except the need to lose some weight).  If you do not have the willpower to say "NO" to snacks....no need to apply, we are serious about his weight loss, we want him to live a long and healthy life forward.
