CRICKET came to the Sheltie Shack from a Kansas Humane Society because she needed additional medical attention that generally isn't available in those settings.  She is probably about 5-7 years old and under 20#s.  She has been a joy to have in our home and after recovering from her surgery, will be looking for a permanent home to call her own.  Cricket, albeit she looks like a tricolor, is actually a cryptic blue sheltie which is verified by her one blue eye and a few sprinkles (lol) of grey throughout her coat. Cryptic blue merle shelties have very limited grey in their coat.  It is also very obvious that Cricket has had puppies and most likely not that long ago as her coat is still growing back in (they blow coat after giving birth).  She also had a mammary tumor that has been completely removed and we are waiting back for the report on it.  After we have this report we will update her bio.
